We at Erik's Design-Build have developed a set of design criteria for new homes and additions to better enhance homes to make life easier as people plan to either stay in their existing home and prepare for any future needs or build a new home based on future needs.

A few of these standards are wider passage ways and hallways. ADA compliant bathroom fixtures, walk in showers with separate handshowers, interior door levers instead of knobs, better functioning kitchens to make cooking and entertaining easier, and many more that we have systematically developed through experience and education.
